This fund was established by Dr. Sylvia Joann Pfeffer Kerr who joined the faculty of the Biology Department in 1972 and served as a professor until her retirement in 2002. During that time she taught several courses and sponsored numerous student research projects, several of which resulted in joint publication with students. She established this fund in order to support research by undergraduate biology majors and contribute to travel costs of students who present their work at national meetings. NO LIVING DONORS.
