Fun in the Sun Golf Tournament in Arizona

Join Hamline alumni, spouses, significant others, and friends who graduated from any of Hamline’s schools for a “Fun in the Sun” golf tournament at Rio Verde Country Club located just outside Scottsdale, AZ.

Tournament:

Saturday, February 15, 2014 with a 9:00 a.m. golf shotgun. Cost is $90 per person and includes green fees, cart, range balls, prizes, continental breakfast and luncheon. The game will be l best ball per foursome on the front 9 holes and 2 best balls per foursome on the back 9. Register as a 4-some, 2-some or single and we’ll match everyone into foursomes. You will receive 100% of handicap and if you don’t have a handicap send in your last 6 golf scores.

On-site registration, check in, and continental breakfast will begin at 8 a.m.

Friday Night Valentine’s Day Party:

Nancy (Lux) Werner ’72 and her husband Jeff Werner invite all participants and their guests to their home on Friday, February 14 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. for wine, beer, heavy hors d’ oeuvres, and fun conversation. Address: 25655 N. DeSoto Lane in Rio Verde.

Saturday Luncheon & Awards:

An awards luncheon will be in the Rio Verde Country Club’s Copper Room immediately following golf. (Non-golfers are invited to the luncheon for $18 pp)

Friday Practice Round:

Hamline alumni and guests are invited to play a practice round on Friday afternoon, February 14 for $55, including cart. Call the Golf Shop at 480-471-9420 to reserve a tee time. Just say you’re with the Hamline University Tournament.
