This presentation discusses the racial disparities which have been reported in Minnesota juvenile adjudications. It is based upon data from the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. This presentation also explores people’s individual interpretations of what race and ethnicity mean. This session seeks one Elimination of Bias CLE Credit.

By enrolling in a Hamline Law Dispute Resolution Institute course this January, you can learn valuable skills in an intentionally interdisciplinary class taught by an internationally renowned professor. Courses can be applied toward degree or certificate program requirements, can be taken for CLE credit, or simply for general professional development. Courses are limited in size to provide you with the richest experience possible. January Term 2014 courses include Mediation, Negotiation, Conflict Coaching: Preparing Yourself and Others, and Theories of Conflict. All DRI J-term courses qualify for CLE credits and Rule 114 certification or continuing education units.
