CLE On-Demand: McGee Civil Rights Moot Court CLE
These three one-hour pre-recorded CLEs* are presented to prepare volunteer judges for the William McGee National Moot Court Competition to be hosted by Hamline Law at the Hamline University Minneapolis campus in February.

This CLE is available on-demand to both alumni and non-alumni at a cost of $30.

This CLE is FREE for lawyers who volunteer to serve as judges for the William E. McGee National Civil Rights Moot Court Competition to be held at the Hamline University Minneapolis Campus on February 19, 20 and 21. To volunteer and for free registration to this CLE event, contact Deb Lange at dlange@hamline.edu.

(3) standard CLE credits are being sought.

*This pre-recorded CLE is pending approval as an "on-demand" course under the Rules of the Minnesota Board of Continuing Education, Event Code 200940.

Within 24 hours of our receipt of your online registration, we will email the weblink and the course materials directly to you to watch at your convenience.

The Supreme Court established the right to counsel in criminal cases in Gideon v. Wainwright. However, need for representation is not limited to criminal matters and the need for counsel outweighs those who can provide it, creating the justice gap, with very real consequences in the lives of many people.

Racial Disparities in Juvenile Adjudication CLE
Maroon speaker icon. This icon indicates that the presentation is available by webcast.Racial disparities in juvenile adjudication is an issue in Minnesota and nationwide. This presentation discusses the racial disparities which have been reported in Minnesota juvenile adjudications. It is based upon data from the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. This presentation also explores people’s individual interpretations of what race and ethnicity mean. This session seeks one Elimination of Bias CLE Credit.

The Etiquette Dinner is an annual event hosted by the Student Alumni Board, Alumni Relations Office, and Career Development Center. Teri Gustafson, of the Minnesota Protocol School, will be our speaker. Teri is an etiquette expert and has participated in this event for four years. Alumni will be at each table to help you practice your networking skills, and share their own stories of etiquette successes…and failures!
