HSB Alumni Breakfasts Continue in 2016-2017
In 2014–2015, the HSB Alumni Board launched HSB Alumni Breakfasts to provide all HSB alumni with an opportunity to network and learn from Hamline experts. During that first year, topics included creating a personal brand, leadership succession, and social engagement. In 2015–2016, the HSB Alumni Board hosted four HSB Alumni Breakfasts. HSB Alumni Breakfasts will continue for the 2016-2017 year with dates and speakers to be announced.
Nominate a deserving alumna/us or faculty member!
The HSB Board of Directors Nominating and Awards Committee seeks nominations throughout the year for the HSB Alumni Association Awards. The purpose of these awards is to recognize HSB alumni, faculty, and members of the HSB Alumni Association; highlight the impact of a Hamline education; and thank alumni and faculty for their dedication. Awardees will exemplify the outstanding leadership, scholarship, and service that distinguishes HSB alumni and faculty.
Nominations may be submitted via online form. Awards will be presented at the annual HSB Alumni Gathering - for the 2016-2017 year, the HSB Alumni Gathering will be held on Thursday, January 19. Nominations are welcome and encouraged throughout the year, and nominations may carry over from year to year.

Interested in staying involved?
The School of Business needs alumni support and engagement. Interested in lending your time or expertise? Contact the Alumni Relations Office so we can learn more about your interests and availability.
The HSB Alumni Board of Directors seeks new board members annually to serve two-year terms. Board members meet four times a year, in addition to task force and project work outside of full board meetings. Board members represent the different degree programs within the School of Business, and support the vision and mission of the school within their respective networks. In spring of 2016, the HSB Alumni Board began to change its structure from a committee to task force model.
To indicate interest in the board, please complete this online form. The Board of Directors will vote on a slate for membership annually in the spring, but welcome questions and interest at any point during the year, and will also look for ad-hoc members of board task forces to work on specific projects. Questions? Please contact Molly Glewwe at email@example.com.

HSB Alumni Breakfast: Leadership Revisited: Moving Up or Moving On?
Join us for an open conversation focused on Gen X mid-career moves (yes, Boomers and Millennials are invited, too). This group often feels neglected in the press and overlooked in organizational planning. As a result, many find themselves ‘stuck’ in lower or middle management and exploring their options. They often are confronted with the choice to continue to pursue ‘moving up’ in their organization / field versus moving on to other pursuits. We will explore these options, and discuss how ongoing leadership development efforts are impacted by and impact these decisions.
